This new Travelodge hotel is designed as part conversion of the existing Old Post Office, part works behind a retained facade and part new build in central Chichester, in a prominent position opposite the town's cathedral. Providing 76 bedrooms, and built from fast-track construction methods, in particular modular timber-framed construction seen at Travelodge hotel project at Bracknell, though here clad in stack-bonded brickwork and tiled roof to suit the town's clear historic vernacular. The project completed in December 2010.
