Slebech Park, Pembrokeshire
30 guestroom country house hotel, conferencing and restaurant
An 18th Century Grade 2* Listed stable block within a 600-acre private country estate was extended and converted to provide luxurious accommodation in this stunning setting overlooking the Eastern Cleddau estuary in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The area surrounding the building is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest [SSSI] for its rare bird life and bat colonies. Undertaking development within this super-sensitive site involved the Environment Agency, Historic Monuments for Wales [Cadw], the Countryside Council for Wales and National Parks agencies. AROS also assisted the client in obtaining development funding from the Welsh Development Agency and the Welsh Tourist Board. The venue is now a sought after destination for celebrity weddings, product launches and exclusive retreats.
