AROS designed and constructed this landmark building on Trafford road for Ramada's core brand product, offering luxurious bedrooms with associated conferencing and a-la-carte dining within striking distance of the city centre and the Lowry Centre. The building contributes to streetscape at low level through the creation of an externally permeable bar and restaurant design whilst maintaining a secure internal environment for guests. At high level a strong roof profile highlighted with a striking external lighting scheme marks the building within the wider context. The hotel has been a great success for Ramada and the project was described as 'excellent' by Peter Hunter of the Salford Urban Design Committee.
